We are hoping to provide more opportunities for our students. Below, you will see a link to a Google Form. Our grades 5-9 students will be participating in Career and Technology Studies on Thursday afternoons from 2:00 - 3:20 for the remainder of the school year. CTF is defined by Alberta Education as an opportunity for students to "plan, design, create, and implement solutions for relevant real-life problems. As students engage in hands-on challenges, they develop social, interpersonal, life, and work skills as well as practical knowledge about various industries, issues and technologies." We are looking for volunteers (parents, grandparents, community members, businesses) who are able and willing to join us in sharing your expertise as it relates to your chosen occupation/career/hobby. A potential example might be someone who was impacted by this year's poor crop outcome and has a plan for the upcoming year. Another example might be someone whose cinnamon bun recipe is legendary and showing us how you have crafted your masterpiece. Another example could be your carpentry hobby. The possibilities really are endless. Please complete the below form if you are able to help us out! As always, shoot me an email (email@example.com) or text/phone call (403-866-7228).
